My wife and I have known Joan for many years and have always found her advice and ability to be excellent and over the years she has negotiated many sales for us.
Recently we put our new spec. house at 7 Townsend Street, Glen Waverley, on the market and had it listed with a number of agents for almost 2 months without any satisfactory offers. I just wanted to thank you for the help and compassion showed by Steven Ker, who is the property manager for my father’s home (6/20 Ophir Rd in Mt Waverley). My father Peter has been the tenant for the past eight years.
My father suffered a serious stroke in early February and has been in hospital since then. He wants to return to his home in Ophir Rd which he loves. In order for him to continue to live there safely, some modifications need to be made to the bathroom. In fact he cannot be discharged home from hospital until these amendments have been completed. These modifications are carried out by the City of Monash with the landlord’s permission.
Despite conflicting advice from the City of Monash, Steven has been completely helpful, available and unflappable. I know that property managers have busy jobs and Steven’s prompt and helpful assistance has made a real difference to my father and to our family. He took over dealings with the City of Monash from me without hesitation and really, his helpfulness and attitude have made my day.
